Rock Band Guitar
The Rock Band guitar controller is based on the classic Fender Stratocaster and can be utilised for both bass and lead guitar within the game. It is available in wired and wireless configurations.
Similar to the older Guitar Hero controller, the Rock Band controller have five fret buttons, each with a different colour, on the guitar neck, a strum bar and a whammy bar for pulling off special moves.
By holding down the fret buttons and strumming to match the on-screen notes which tumble vertically down the screen at the appropriate time, players can 'play along' with the rest of the band.
The Rock Band guitar also has a "Lefty Flip" feature, which leaves left-handed guitar players with no excuses for missing the right notes!
